This is a lovely, flowy, midi-length dress featuring intricate floral embroidery across the yoke (upper chest/shoulder area). Hand stitched by Tsotsil Maya women from Zinacantan Chiapas featuring floral embroidery using silk thread in their characteristic lavender, magenta and deep purple colors. The base of the embroidered area is made with a backstrap loom thread by thread, an ancestral technique that they preserve to these days. The rest of the dress is made with soft rayon fabric with hand stitched details in all the seams.
This is a one size dress that fits comfortably up to size XL.
